We promote a sustainable culture

Programme of voluntary agreements for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and Barcelona+Sostenible. We have been awarded the Biosphere 2023 certification and the Environmental Quality Guarantee badge.

Climate Shelters Network of the city of Barcelona. In summer, we enable an area to shelter from the heat in the basement.

137 solar panels on the roof of the old Casa de la Caritat

One of the main added values of the CCCB is its efforts to combine disciplines that do not normally interact, such as science, philosophy or the humanities. It creates debates between people from very different backgrounds and areas of expertise. This is one of the most important characteristics of the CCCB and its team.
